RECRUITING POLICY AND PROCEDURES:

ETS Recruting Officers are the only individuals to inform applicants/recruits to put on ets/ETS tags on with the exception as listed in "Notes" below. Any person found giving out tags without consent of a RO will be disciplined. A person accepting tags from a non-RO will be disciplined and their application to ETS will become void.

SYNOPSIS:

The purpose of the ETS recruiting policy is to ensure a good match between a player's expectations and the clan's needs.

To become a recruit, a player must fill out an application by going to the "Join Us" link. The application is reviewed and an interview may be setup depending on the applicant. If interviewed and accepted the applicant is to receive small (probationary) tags. Once the applicant receives small [ets] tag they will then be placed on a probationary period from two to four weeks. After the probationary period if there are no issuess the recruit will then receive large [ETS] tags and become a full ETS member.

RECRUIT PROCESS CONSISTS OF FIVE PHASES:

1. Application
2. Evaluation (Interview by an RO)
3. Small ets tags issued.
5. Probationary period starts. (up to 30 days)
4. Big tags issued.

ETS RECRUIT PROCESS

1. Potential candidate applies via our online enlistment form.
2. Recruitment staff will verify the applicant's information.truly believes the applicant is extremely mature, very respectful, and has a positive attitude.
3. Applicant is scheduled for an interview by a recruitment officer to determine if the candidate is extremely mature, very respectful, and has a positive attitude.
4. Passed interviewee will be registered on TeamSpeak by an SA. Recruits must register with their game name to simplify management of our TS server.
5. Once the Recruit has logged back onto TS as registered they will add [ets] to their XFire nickname.
6. Verify the Recruit is registered on the forums with their game name (no tags necessary).
7. Recruit puts [ets] on his name in game (CoD).
8. Start a welcome thread in the [ETS] Members section of the forums.
9. All ETS recruits will have a minimum of two weeks probation and a maximum of four weeks unless there are special circumstances.
10. Once a recruit is off probation and is authorized for full tags a post must be made via the forums so the roster and forum rights can be updated.

RECRUIT REQUIREMENTS

1. Active on the elite-tactical.net forums
2. Active on the elite tactical teamspeak server
3. Have a working microphone.
4. Have a clean cheat free background
5. Have a high level of maturity.
6. Have spent sufficient time playing in our servers (or with ETS members in other games) and in our TeamSpeak to verify the above and to confirm that the player will fit the clan's personality and goals.
7. While ETS does not require dues, we do expect you to try and help the clan financially if possible.

RECRUIT'S OBLIGATIONS

During the probationary period, the Recruit is obligated to:

1. Wear his/her recruit tags at all times while in game, even if not playing in our servers.
2. Make himself familiar with the Code of Conduct (Recruits must agree to abide by these rules before becoming a member).
3. Participate in as many clan events as possible (role calls, practices, scrims, etc). Roll Call is EXTREMELY encouraged BUT is not mandatory.
4. Make an effort to get to know as many clan members as possible.
5. Join TeamSpeak and play in channel with those you are in game with.
6. Participate in forum discussions (but dont post simply for the sake of posting).


RECRUIT OFFICERS DUTIES

During the evaluation period, the RO will:

1. Ensure the applicant is familiar with the Code of Conduct (including voluntary dues), and that he/she can and will abide by those rules.
2. Instruct the applicant on the use of forums and TeamSpeak as needed.
3. Ensure the applicant participates in as many Clan events (role calls, practices, scrims, etc.) as possible. Roll Call is EXTREMELY encouraged BUT is not mandatory.
4. Ensure the applicant spends as much time as possible in game, teamspeak, and forum so that other members have the opportunity to evaluate him/her.


NOTES

•An ETS Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner/Advisor may intervene in the recruitment process in any way, at any time, for any reason but must communicate this to an ETS Recruiting Officer.
•An invitee can be denied recruitment or membership due to his or her actions, which will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
•If a player is denied membership, he/she may not be reconsidered for membership for a minimum of two months.


EX-MEMBERS RETURNING

1. Ex-members wanting to return to the clan, who left on good terms will need to contact an ETS RO.
2. ETS RO shall then present the case to the ETS Commissioner or Deputy Commissioners in the forums.
3. Through discussion ETS ROs and ETS Commissioner staff it will be decided if the returning member shall return to ETS.
