On September 22, 2006 the Elite Tactical Soldiers was founded by Sixx and Reaper in Call of Duty 2. Sixx and Reaper set out to make a clan that would evolve around what they believed a clan should be. They believed a clan should contain a clean atmosphere where anyone can be comfortable in and to allow it's members to have a voice in everyday decision making. Bringing in some close friends that they had from a previous clans they created Elite Tactical Squad. These members included MajorWoody, Wulf, Warmongur, Ez, Compuzen, Herb, Rip, Krag, and Pvt.Pyle.
On November 6, 2007 Elite Tactical Squad made the moved into Call of Duty 4. Also near that date was the decision to change Elite Tactical Squad to Elite Tactical Soldiers as the members felt that "squad" did not fit so well with how much ETS has grown. Continuing to grow Elite Tactical Soldiers made some major changes to its structure on August 15, 2009. This new structure was built the same way as the old one, but was expanded. The new structure was put in place to allow more roles for its members to participate in.
Today Elite Tactical Soldiers continues to run with the same goals and expectations for its members and public players. Elite Tactical Soldiers is open for anyone over the age of 15 to join. Elite Tactical Soldiers participates in the Tactical Realism Community and in league competition such as in Realism1 and TCC.
